Dave's Corner is named in memory of our dear friend and Christ UMC church member Dave Olney. 
Dave was killed in a tragic car accident just two miles away from the church involving a distracted driver.
He loved his church, his community, and his neighbors. He was a huge advocate for bringing people
together and creating safe spaces for recreation and fellowship. As we were building the court a neighbor commented, “It’s bringing life and hope to our community." This is exactly what Christ UMC hopes to do, as our vision statement is “To be a beacon of Light, Love and Hope to the community.”
